It isn't too difficult unless ... you try to fake it. We all use products, and many times we have something to say about the products we used, we bought, or we discarded. Why not share with others your experiences and opinions. I believe doing so will be helpful to both consumers and producers.
I have benefited from reading reviews and experiences sharing/cursing by others on products that I consider buying. Now, I am more encouraged to give my reviews, especially when I can get paid.

A sudden [small] fortune
This blog has very low traffic, and thus I don't expect much from Google AdSense. Actually, I don't understand the funny spikes of earnings. After many months, actually some years, my earnings is still only $2+. Just recently, with two spikes on
4 and 9 Dec, my earnings shoot up by $0.82 and now it is above $3 :)

Live casting
Our PM Lee's demostration of live casting during his speech inspired MrBrown to test Qik out, and in turn inspired many, including me to try it out. Only a few poorly captured videos while cycling at my Qik, but hopefully more will come.
I think if Qik can disallow edited videos, then its contents will truly be reality shows.

Long break from blogging; a trip to Korea
Dear readers (as if there are :)),
Just a note to say that the long break from blogging was due to my overseas trip to Gapyeong, Guri, and Seoul from end of July till early August.
Previously I had the impression that having an address in Korea may not guarantee that you can find the place. Now, an address + GPS in taxi, it is quite guaranteed, provided the address is written/spelt correctly.
Since I couldn't find South Korea map in Google Maps, so I thought there isn't any such information online. However, my friend manage to find it here, although it seems to be only in Korean.

Did someone accidentally set their price too high?
My Google Adsense income just passed another small little milestone, now at ... US$2.02. I think I have forgotten to blog about it when it passed the 1 dollar mark.
However, it wasn't due to my traffic, but some very highly paying advertisements, and I don't quite understand how did it happen. I mean, did some advertiser accidentally set their pricing wrongly?

Transiting into the next chapter
It has been exactly two months since I last saw this state:
where all earnings are paid. It means that I haven't been able to grab any opportunity from PayPerPost for more than a month :)
This may be the end of getting opportunities from PayPerPost, after my PR was hammered down from 3 to zero in January.
I hope the next chapter with SocialSpark will be a prosperous one :)

Exceeded 200!!
Not long after I moved into 2nd gear, my earnings from blogging exceeded USD100!
That took me slightly more than 4 months at 1st gear.
Today, just slightly over a month at 2nd gear, my earnings from blogging in my PayPal account exceeded US$200 yesterday!! Actually, my earnings had exceeded US$200 on the 8 Feb, the date after which I am able to withdraw the US$25 I have won in the Aductions Review Competition in January.
I shall remain at 2nd gear before I figure out how to move on to 3rd gear.

The first time I have won a contest!
I submitted my post, Ad + Auctions = Aductions, to the January 2008 Review Competition by the new advertisement space marketplace, Aductions. That was 30th January, and mine is the only entry. The forum is so quiet. There must be many like me wondering has Aductions died? ... Has it?
I am glad to tell you that they are alive and kicking! As promised, they announced the winner here. Yes, that's me! I am Winner # 10! Although I am not the first, I am still the first because, afaik, this contest has only one contestant :)

More than a blogger
I have just added the ShareThis button. Find it at the end of each post. Try it out! (If not there, click on the "read more or ShareThis")
This seems originally designed for website rather than free hosting domain blogs. However, recently it can work on blogs. They have a customize code for WordPress, while I searched and found out how to incorporate it into blogspot.
Anyway, I feel honored to be considered a publisher by them, whose site has a interface for users, publishers and developers. So, I shall be more aware that I'm not just throwing words that I want to say here, but be more concerned about who are the readers, and what are interesting and beneficial to them.

Is this a too good an Alexa rank?
I hope this isn't an error, either technically, or my wrong understanding, but... This blog Alexa rank is 12! I seriously suspect something is wrong.
Arrrgh, after checking at the Alexa site, it is not a technical error, but my misunderstanding. This is a computed number from the average number of reach and pageview. Now I understand.
